2026 Leagues Are Open for Registration — Five Courts of Soft Sand Play Await!

Volo Sports is bringing the best sand volleyball leagues to Thornton — and this venue is something special. Five courts of soft sand, a great bar on-site with an excellent patio, and the kind of atmosphere that makes every match night feel like an event.
We play at Sonesta Lanes in Thornton, located at 8800 Grant St — right off I-25 and just a short drive north of downtown Denver. Easy to get to from anywhere across the north metro, with great bar specials and great views waiting for you before and after every match. You're guaranteed at least 6 regular season matches plus an invitation to our big double-elimination end-of-season tournament, where you'll compete against teams from all other nights in your division. This is the tournament you play all season to get to. We provide a paid official for all 6v6 leagues, scoreboard equipment, and up-to-date schedules and standings all season long. No hidden fees, no surprises — just great sand volleyball and a great time every single week. No full team? No worries. Sign up as an individual or small group and we'll get you placed on a team in one of our awesome leagues. Individuals, small groups, and full teams are all welcome. When you play with Volo, you Play it Forward — every registration helps fund free youth sports programs for kids across Colorado through the Volo Kids Foundation.
